Happy New Year, friends! I pray that 2018 will be a beautiful, challenging year filled with happiness for each and every one of you. Happy Reformation Day, friends! Five hundred years ago today, a guy named Luther got busy with a hammer and started the Protestant Reformation. He challenged the heresy of the Roman Catholic church by nailing his ninety-five theses to the church door at Wittenberg. It was a small flame that kindled a huge fire. Hundreds of thousands of people lost their lives in the fight for religious freedom. Today we celebrate their sacrifice, and God’s abundant grace in strengthening and keeping them. We’re trying to break a world record!

One anthology, one hundred writers. I am part of a group of 112 writers that are trying to break the Guinness World Record for most authors contributing to an anthology. The previous record is held by a group of fifty people. We are trying to publish an anthology of a hundred stories by a hundred unique authors. The publisher and brain behind the whole operation is a South African from the Western Cape!
